St Michael’s Church was founded in 1993 by Fr Paul Boardman. It began in the living room of his house and now meets in the Aquidneck Grange in Middletown. At his retirement in 2006, Fr. David Klampert became the pastor of the Church. In 2008 The church became Lifepath Church.
Lifepath is part of a larger communion of churches called the Charismatic Episcopal Church or CEC. Although the CEC was established in 1992, it has quickly grown to hundreds of churches throughout the world. The CEC is not affiliated with the Episcopal Church USA.
We Believe…
That the Holy Scriptures are the final authority on all matters of faith, doctrine and practice. Where Scripture does not speak clearly, we defer to apostolic tradition.
That the historic creeds of the undivided Church provide a clear and indisputable summary of the Christian faith.
That we are saved by grace, through faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ.
That the Sacraments of the Church impart the grace of God.
That the Holy Spirit is at work today through spiritual gifts and signs given to the Church.
